The United States debuted in their new red jersey in their international friendly against Argentina and came away with a 1-1 draw from the game against star studded opposition
This is the new U.S. red soccer jersey that will function as the third kit of the US national soccer team. The red USA jersey retains the sash and has been created by Nike based on feedback from consumers and supporters of the national team.
The new USA 2011 jersey will be worn for the first time by the national squad in their international friendly against Argentina on March 26, 2011 at at New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. The US will also wear this red jersey during games at the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
This USA third jersey 2011 has been made from recycled materials and completes Nike’s list of releases for the US national team in the national flag’s colours ( there are also white and blue jerseys available).
