Cavani was sent off in the match, but Uruguay skipper Diego Godin insisted that Cavani “reacted the way he did” because of Jara’s provocation.
Jara had an altercation with Cavani’s Uruguayan teammate Luis Suarez not too long ago, and his employers, German club Mainz, are ready to sell him after their Sporting Director was quoted in Bild saying “we won’t tolerate such behaviour”
