This Martial vs Lamela incident was a very controversial one, with United’s Anthony Martial sent off for hitting Erik Lamela in the face during their league game earlier today. Lamela first elbows Martial in the throat, following which the latter reacts by effectively slapping him on the face. Lamela goes down and referee Anthony Taylor sends Martial off. A very, very controversial decision- many were of the opinion that both players should’ve been sent off, or both should’ve got yellow cards

United fail to clear the ball and Maguire accidentally pulls Shaw down, and the ball falls for Ndombele, who scores from close range.
