Lampard, if you remember, was also the English player who had a goal disallowed in the World Cup that brought about a debate for goalline technology.

This Sandro goal against Chelsea was the Brazilian midfielder’s first goal in Spurs colours, but it was later cancelled out by this controversial Lampard goal for Chelsea. The final scoreline was Chelsea 2 Tottenham 1.

The Sandro goal arrived in the 19th minute of the game, with the scores tied at 0-0, and was a thunderous long range effort ( from 30 yards out) that flew into the top corner of Chelsea goalie Petr Cech’s net. An absolute cracker of a goal, and what a way to open your account for the club!
