The FA Cup semifinal draw for 2017/18 was conducted earlier this evening (March 18, 2018) and we’ve got two mouthwatering semifinal ties. Spurs will square off against Manchester United while Chelsea will take on Southampton, who ended Wigan’s giant-killing run in the quarterfinals. Petr Cech and Gianfranco Zola were present at the draw. Games will take place at Wembley on April 21/22, 2018

A rather unfortunate incident this one, involving Lynsey Hipgrave, as the television presenter mixed up the teams just after the FA Cup semifinal draw had been made. The draw pitted United v Spurs and Chelsea against Southampton, but Hipgrave read it out as United v Chelsea and Spurs v Southampton

This Jose Rondon goal vs Southampton (GIF VIDEO BELOW) was a beautiful volley strike from the West Bromwich Albion star against Saints in their FA Cup game on 17 February, 2018. Rondon’s goal v Saints came in the 58th minute- nice assist from Krychowiak as well. Shades of RVP in this Rondon volley goal. Unfortunately for West Brom, they lost the tie 2-1.
