Slovakia Euro 2016 Squad announced- Slovak 23 member team for the Championships

A day after shocking Germany 3-1 in Augsburg, Slovakia have just announced their 23 member squad for the European Championships. Coach Jan Kozak has cut four players from his provisional 27 member squad- Lukas Tesak, Matus Bero, Erik Sabo and Adam Zrelak are the ones making way.

Key players include Liverpool’s Martin Skrtel and Napoli’s Marek Hamsik, both of whom will play key roles if Slovakia have to get out of their group.

The maximum number of players come from Viktoria Plzen (3), with Slovan Bratislava sending 2 players. Eighteen clubs are represented by a single player.

Slovakia are in Group B for the Championships in France along with England, Wales and Russia.
