This disallowed SUFC goal vs Aston Villa was a bizarre moment in the two sides’s 0-0 draw at Villa Park. AVFC keeper Orjan Nyland clearly appeared to carry the ball past his own line, but a weird technology fail, with Hawk Eye goal line technology and VAR both not recognising that it should’ve been a goal to Sheffield United. The league later released a statement attributing to a technology error

This Brian Gayle own goal vs Leeds (VIDEO BELOW) was a bizarre strike from the Sheffield United star 28 years ago (April 26, 1992) that ended up giving Leeds United a 3-2 win at Bramall Lane. The Gayle own goal v Leeds came in the 77th minute and put LUFC 3-2 ahead. It was also the goal that won Leeds the 1991/92 first division title, given that Manchester United lost to Liverpool in the same round of fixtures.
