German Newspaper Player Ratings RB Leipzig 1-1 Freiburg 2020 | How did Timo Werner, Kampl, Angelino & Nkunku fare?

Here is a look at how some of the big German newspapers rated Rasenball Sport Leipzig and SC Freiburg’s players following their 1-1 draw over the weekend. RBL dropping points at home saw them concede third spot in the league table to Borussia Monchengladbach.

Note- in this grading system, 1 means a good performance, and 5 is a bad one. 4+ is a better performance than 4, which in turn is better than 4-.

MoPo gave the troika of Timo Werner, Angelino and Christopher Nkunku a 3 for their efforts. Only one Leipzig player got a rating better than 3, and that was Kevin Kampl with 2.5

Here is a look at the player ratings from several different newspapers (English, French, Spanish, German) from RB Leipzig’s 3-0 win over Tottenham in the second leg of their Champions League Round of 16 clash.

L’Equipe player ratings Leipzig-Tottenham 3-0

L’Equipe, it appears, were horrified by Spurs’ second leg performance. Eric Dier got a 2/10 player rating, and many of his team mates were given 3/10, as was manager Jose Mourinho. Spurs had a team rating of 3.3/10, as opposed to RBL’s 6.3/10.

4/10 for both Hugo Lloris and Serge Aurier from the UK Telegraph. 6/10 for the troika of Harry Winks, Dele Alli and Giovani Lo Celso.

Upamecano goes on a run from inside his own, and Tanganga sends him flying. No penalty given though!
