This Jetro Willems goal v Liverpool saw the Dutch defender, on loan at Newcastle from Eintracht Frankfurt, open his league account for the club in some style. The Willems goal vs Liverpool came in the 7th minute of their clash at Anfield- a powerful hit that Adrian was powerless to stop. His first goal in the competition, from his first shot!
This Lascelles foul on Matip (GIF VIDEO BELOW) was a controversial moment from the Magpies’ clash against the Reds after the international break. Magpies defender Jamal Lascelles appeared to bring Joel Matip down in the box, but no penalty was given, even in the presence of VAR.
