The biggest spenders have obviously been Manchester City and Tottenham, two teams expected to qualify for Europe, but who were struggling in the bottom half of the table when the window opened. Both Spurs and City have spent close to £50m each. Liverpool and Chelsea have not made any significant signings though. Manchester United and Arsenal have one big money signing each.
