Here is a look at the player ratings from some of the big European newspapers following Olympique Lyon’s 3-1 win over Manchester City that sent the former into a semi-final against Bayern Munich. Moussa Dembele scored twice off the bench, as City, despite dominating the xG battle, lost 3-1 on the scoreboard.

French newspaper L’Equipe gave Houssem Aouar a 9/10 player rating, the best on either side. Man City goal scorer Kevin de Bruyne was the best among the City starters with his 6/10. LE were frustrated with Pep Guardiola, giving him a manager rating of 3/10, as opposed to the 9/10 they gave Rudi Garcia.
