First win for Liverpool under new manager Kenny Dalglish as they grab a hard fought 3-0 away victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
This Raul Meireles goal vs Everton was the midfielder’s first in Liverpool colours. The Meireles goal against Everton gave Liverpool the lead in the Merseyside derby on January 16, 2011. The fixture eventually ended in a 2-2 draw.
Portugal international Meireles struck a powerful effort from the edge of the box after Everton stopper Tim Howard had done well to deny Dirk Kuyt twice.
