Australia is hosting the Asian Cup for the first time ever, and we at Soccer Blogger thought it would be a good idea to check out and compile a list of attendances/crowds at the games. The profile of soccer is rising in Australia despite the presence of rival football codes (AFL, Rugby League and Rugby Union), and this has been reflected in the growing attendances for the domestic A-League, club friendlies and other international fixtures.
Five venues were chosen for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup- Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, Canberra and Melbourne
Figures last updated as on January 31, 2015 after South Korea v Australia Final (Attendance- 76,385)
