The First Kenyan to play in the UEFA Champions League- MacDonald Mariga
Last night, Inter Milan’s Mariga MacDonald Wanyama became the first player from his country to compete in the UEFA Champions League. The 22 year old midfielder came on as a substitute for Wesley Sneijder in the dying moments of Inter Milan’s 1-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
