CDR Semi-finals 2020
Real Sociedad v Mirandes (13 Feb & 4 March 2020)
Athletic Bilbao vs Granada (12 Feb & 5 March 2020)
Copa del Rey semi final date and time
Sociedad and Athletic will host the first legs of the semi-final.
Both semi-finals will be two legged affairs- the previous games from the current season did not have two legs.
Mirandes are the only non La Liga side left in the draw, and they’ve been drawn against Sociedad, who knocked Real Madrid out at the Bernabeu.
Athletic’s reward for upsetting Barca is a tie against Granada, who claimed another big fish in the form of defending champions Valencia in the last eight.
Which was the last Copa del Rey semi-final not to feature either Barcelona, Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid?
Before the 2019/20 edition, this last happened in the 2002-03 season. That year, Mallorca, courtesy a brace from Samuel Eto’o, won the title.
