Chelsea failed to regain their place at the top of the Premiership as they drew 1-1 away at Newcastle United on Sunday, November 28, 2010.
Newcastle took the lead early in the game through Andy Carroll when a horrible backpass from Alex caught Petr Cech unawares. Chelsea equalised on the stroke of half time through Salomon Kalou.

Second half goals from Daniel Sturridge and Florent Malouda, the latter of which came four minutes from time, give Chelsea a comeback win over MSK Zilina at home on November 23, 2010.
Chelsea have now won all five of their Champions League group fixtures.
Chelsea 0-3 Sunderland ( Nedum Onuoha, Asamoah Gyan, Danny Welbeck)
Sunderland claimed their first victory at Stamford Bridge in over nine years with a stunning 3-0 over reigning champions Chelsea on Sunday, November 14, 2010.
The Black Cats were underdogs going into this game and few expected them to get any points from this fixture given their poor away form in the competition. However a stunning individual goal from Nedum Onuoha and good finishes from Asamoah Gyan and Danny Welbeck gave Sunderland a upset 3-0 win over the Blues- the latter’s biggest loss to a non Big four team since 1995.
The result takes Sunderland to sixth in the table.
