Manchester United effectively end Chelsea’s hopes of silverware this season as they beat the Blues 2-1 at Old Trafford to progress 3-1 on aggregate into the semifinals of the Champions League. Ramires was red carded for Chelsea in this fixture. Fernando Torres had another unfruitful outing for Chelsea as he was replaced at half time by Drogba.

Chelsea Goalkeeper Kit 11/12 White Adidas

The new Chelsea goalkeeper Kit for the 11/12 season has been officially unveiled by Adidas. Petr Cech, Chelsea’s goalkeeper will wear a white kit during his team’s games in the 11/12 season.

The white goalkeeper strip continues in Chelsea and Adidas’ traditions of producing new goalkeeper kits every season.

New Chelsea Jersey 2011/12 Home Adidas

The new Chelsea jersey for the 2011/12 home season has been officially unveiled by the Blues today ( April 12, 2011). The new Chelsea home jersey takes inspiration from Chelsea’s past, with the design taking inspiration from the Chelsea strips of the 1980’s.

The three stripes for jersey maker Adidas are in blue for the first time in the club’s history.

Chelsea’s new home jersey for 11/12 will be worn by the Blues for the first time in their final home game of the season against Newcastle United ( May 14, 2011). The playing Chelsea strip contains Adidas’ Techfit technology while the replica shirt contains the Climacool technology.
