We did this with the Premier League and the Championship (promotion odds), and here are the odds for each team to win the La Liga title this season before the official start of the campaign.
As expected, defending champions Barcelona are the favourites to lift the title this year as well. Somewhat surprisingly, there is a large gap between Real and Atletico, with the latter at 13 compared to the former’s 2.62.
The team least expected to win La Liga in 2019/20 is Mallorca, as can be seen below.
Joao Felix gave another example of why 126 million euros might well end up being a bargain for him as he starred in Atletico Madrid’s 2-1 win over Juventus in Sweden. Felix had a hand in both goals, the second of which was very nice to watch if you were an Atleti supporter.
