West Ham grabbed a welcome win on Boxing Day over Fulham thanks to two goals from Carlton Cole. Fulham took the lead through Aaron Hughes and dominated the first half, but West Ham managed to go into the interval leading 2-1. Another goal in the second half from Cole sealed the issue and increased the pressure on Fulham boss Mark Hughes.
Blackburn 1-1 West Ham ( Ryan Nelsen, Junior Stanislas)
In only one of two Premiership fixtures on December 18, 2010, Blackburn Rovers drew 1-1 with relegation threatened West Ham United at Upton Park. New Zealand skipper Ryan Nelsen opened the scoring in the 51st minute, only for Junior Stanislas to snatch a late equaliser for West Ham.
Manchester United 1-0 Arsenal ( Park Ji-Sung)
A solitary goal from Park Ji-Sung was enough to give Manchester United a 1-0 victory over Arsenal in December 2010.
The victory saw Manchester United take top spot in the Premier League from the Gunners.
