If reports from the French and Spanish papers are to be believed, several big Premiership clubs will be in a battle to sign young Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare this summer. While Newcastle made an unsuccessful bid for him in January, the race now appears to be heating up, with the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool all interested in snapping him up. Spain may also be an alternative, with Real Madrid monitoring his progress closely.

Photos Memphis Depay & his pet Liger (Lion + Tiger cub) at home during the 2020 Coronavirus lockdown!
Former Manchester United and PSV star Memphis Depay, who currently plays his club football for Olympique Lyon has released a set of photos of him playing with his pet liger (lion + tiger cross). The liger is currently only a cub, and the pictures, as you might have expected, have attracted a fair bit of controversy.
One photo shows Memphis and his pet liger face the camera, another shows the Dutch star carry the liger and the last one sees the cub looking at Memphis’ lion tattoo.

Here is how the big French newspapers (L’Equipe, Le Parisien) rated Olympique Lyonnais and Paris Saint-Germain’s players following the latter’s 5-1 triumph at the Groupama Stadium. Kylian Mbappe was the star of the show, with his hat trick earning him a 9/10 in L’Equipe and a 8/10 in Le Parisien.
