Dutch club PSV Eindhoven have launched a special heritage shirt to celebrate the final season of their long standing sponsorship with Philips, which will end after the current 2015/16 season. Philips have been the Eredivisie club’s sponsor for over three decades and the club will wear this shirt in their final games of the 15/16 season.
The red shirt, with white collar and trims, features a retro logo used between 1917 and 1937.
The Dutch Eredivisie, and Feyenoord in particular, have been producing some great goals recently (see Tonny Vilhena for example), and this Anass Achahbar goal vs Heerenveen was another goal worth watching. Unfortunately for Feyenoord, like with the AZ game in which Vilhena scored, they ended up on the wrong side of a 2-1 scoreline. Game took place on 28 January, 2016 at De Kuip
This Tonny Vilhena goal vs AZ Alkmaar (VIDEO BELOW) was a strike worth watching from the young Feyenoord midfielder. Took place in Feyenoord’s Eredivisie game against AZ over the weekend, with the latter winning 4-2. The 21 year old has been capped by the Netherlands at various youth levels.
