New Zealand vs Bahrain highlights World Cup playoff November 14

Final score :- New Zealand 1-0 Bahrain ( Rory Fallon 45′ )

Result:- New Zealand win the two legged playoff 1-0 on aggregate, and qualify for their first World Cup since 1982. For Bahrain, it is another case of heartbreak- they lost to Trinidad and Tobago in the playoffs for the 2006 World Cup. A record attendance at the Westpac Stadium- the highest ever for a soccer match in New Zealand.

Australia 1-0 Oman Goal highlights

Everton’s Tim Cahill scored in the 74th minute to allow Australia to beat Claude Le Roy’s Oman in Melbourne. Cahill had also scored a late equaliser against Oman when the two sides met in 2007, and he was to prove their nemesis again.
