Here is how the big German newspapers (Bild and Kicker) gave their player ratings for Bayern vs Borussia Monchengladbach. Bayern won 3-1 at home.
No player on either side got the top 1 rating in the German rating system, but Bild gave all three goal scorers- Kane, Pavlovic and De Ligt (plus Thomas Muller) a 2 for their efforts
The interesting difference in Bild and Kicker’s ratings came for Julian Weigl (MGB)- he got a 2 in Bild, but a 4 in Kicker, as can be seen below.
