Here is a look at stills of Luis Diaz’s disallowed offside goal vs Spurs over the weekend. The pictures seem to suggest it was a very, very tight call by VAR to look at Diaz and Romero’s foot and declare the former offside. Interestingly, no offside lines were drawn when VAR disallowed the goal during the game.
VAR later confirmed that the goal should’ve stood and the no goal decision was a mistake of poor communication between the VAR and the on-field referee.
