This Glen McAuley goal vs Waterford was an absolutely stunning hit from near the half way line (inside his own half actually!) from the Athlone star in their FAI Cup clash on 23 July, 2021. This McAuley FAI Cup goal against Waterford was actually his hat trick (third) goal of the game and came in the 124th minute- literally the last second of extra time, to tie the game at 4-4. Unfortunately, it went to penalties where Athlone lost 4-2
