This picture of a young crying German girl during Die Mannschaft’s 2-0 loss to England at Wembley in their Round of 16 clash went viral. Germany were beaten 2-0 by Gareth Southgate’s men, and the young fan, with a German flag on her cheek and among the 41,973 in attendance, was obviously very disappointed with the result.

I felt very very sad when I saw her crying, although it is only a game but she broke my heart.
