Arsenal “Always Forward” 14 on Back of Jerseys | Special shirt worn to commemorate FA Cup victory

Arsenal’s players all changed into jerseys bearing the name “Always Forward” and the No.14 after their 2-1 FA Cup triumph against Chelsea at Wembley on August 1, 2020.

Why did Arsenal have “Always Forward 14” on the back of their shirt?

They did it after the game to celebrate their 14th FA Cup triumph- this 2-1 win over CFC was their 14th Cup win.

Arsenal’s win guarantees them Europa League football, and ensures that rivals Tottenham will have to play the qualifying rounds of the competition. Wolves drop out of the EL for 2020/21 (unless they win the 2019/20 current edition of the tournament to qualify for Europe)

List of the 14 FA Cups won by Arsenal : 1930, 1936, 1950, 1971, 1979, 1993, 1998, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2020

  1. How is that different than any champion in any league/sport that are able to immediately put on a “champions” hat after their win? There’s always apparel ready for both sides. There are charity companies that are given the now inaccurate apparel and send it needy people around the world (generally not where it’ll be too obvious). Take a walk through the poorest areas of Africa, South America, the Caribbean or Asia in a few months and you’ll see “Chelsea – FA CUP CHAMPS 2019/20” jerseys walking around.
