Here is how the Spanish newspapers rated the performances of Joao Felix and Kieran Trippier on their league debuts for Atletico Madrid in their season opener against Getafe. Atleti won the game 1-0 thanks to Alvaro Morata’s early strike, which was assisted by Trippier.
Felix was quiet for the first half before one stunning solo run saw him earn a penalty for Atleti. Unfortunately, Morata wasn’t able to convert.
Felix got two stars for his performance against Getafe- not as dazzling as the one in pre season against Juventus or arch rivals Real Madrid. but a decent debut nevertheless.
