Ivan Perisic is suspended for Bayern’s first league of the game this season against Hertha Berlin. Perisic picked up his fifth yellow in Inter’s last game of the 2018/19 season against Empoli, as per an agreement between leagues, has to serve his one game suspension despite moving to Germany. Bayern signed the Croatian international on loan after their original target, Man City winger Leroy Sane, suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury in the Community Shield game against Liverpool.
Perisic is no stranger to German football, having played for both Dortmund and Wolfsburg before his move to Inter in 2015.
The 30 year old has joined the Bavarian giants for a season long loan (fee of 5 million euros), with an option to make the switch permanent for 20 million euros.
Bayern started their season with a 3-1 win over Energie Cottbus in the German Cup.
