Man City announce Puma shirt deal, to leave Nike

We’ve got a new kit deal, with Puma replacing Nike at Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Deal: Puma to replace Nike for five City Football Group clubs (Man City, Girona, Melbourne City, Atletico Torque and Sichuan Jiuniu)

Value of the contract: Cumulative for five clubs at £65m a season. City’s standalone previous deal with Nike was approximately £20m a year (they’ve been with Nike for the last six years)

Length of the contract: 10 years, so £650m in total

Deal effective: Begins in the 2019/20 season. Officially announced on 28 February, 2019
