Leicester 0-1 West Ham (Mark Noble red card Leicester 38′)
Buildup before the foul by Noble
Clear red card, no complaints there.
Noble’s been a wonderful servant to the club, but I’m not sure he’s up to the level Pellegrini wants/needs. Essentially gave away possession for Lamela’s goal last weekend, and then gets sent off here.
You can see there was no intent to make contact with the player. Mark was going for the ball with the outside of his foot but the Leicester player’s leg is there a fraction before he gets to it. He had every right to try to get to the ball. If the ref thought his attempt was unreasonable then maybe a yellow card but definitely did not deserve to be sent off.
