This Davinson Sanchez disallowed goal v PSV caused plenty of controversy as the Colombian defender’s goal for Tottenham was disallowed by the assistant. Sanchez’s goal was disallowed against PSV because Harry Kane was apparently offside- however many Spurs fans were of the opinion that it wasn’t offside and he was not interfering with play. Ex Spurs player Jenas called it a “shocker”

Spurs drew the game 2-2 at the end after Hugo Lloris was sent off, which makes this decision a more controversial one- it could’ve given them all three points in an away CL clash had it been allowed.
