Torreira has made more tackles than any other player in the Italian top flight since making his debut for Samp in the 206/17 season.
What is the transfer fee Arsenal paid for Torreira?
Arsenal paid Sampdoria 30 million euros (approximately 26.5 million pounds)
What will be Torreira’s shirt number at Arsenal?
Torreira will take the No.11 jersey, previously worn by Mesut Ozil. The German will in turn take the No.10 jersey vacated by Jack Wilshere.
Among players from the top six Premier League teams, only Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante had more interceptions than the Uruguayan in the 2017/18 season.
Torreira has reportedly inked a five year deal with Arsenal. He played in all five of Uruguay’s games at the 2018 World Cup before La Celeste were eliminated in the quarters by France.
