Alan Sugar has come in for criticism after a tweet of his that compared footballers from the Senegalese national team to vendors selling bags and sunglasses on beaches.
Sugar was seemingly comparing them to the Lookie-Lookie men from Senegal who are renowned for selling counterfeit items in Spain.
After his initial tweet, Sugar, well known for his appearances in the Apprentice, went on to say that he found nothing wrong with his tweet and that people were overreacting, but eventually deleted his tweet.
Senegal became the first African national to pick up points at the World Cup last night after beating Poland 2-1. They’re also the only country at Russia 2018 to have a black coach in the form of Aliou Cisse.
Here are the tweets- offensive or not?
