This Ahmed Elmohamady goal vs Burton Albion (GIF VIDEO BELOW) was an unfortunate, but somewhat comical own goal from the Villa star in their game on 3 February, 2018. Elmo’s own goal against Burton came in the 71st minute- from an opposition corner, he absolutely smashed it into the top corner, but unfortunately, into the Villa goal, not the Burton one. To Elmo’s credit, he did redeem himself with an assist for Jack Grealish’s 88th minute goal that was to give Villa all three points

Haha, that’s horrific to watch if you’re a Villa fan. Almost as if he thought it was an attacking corner, not a defensive one.
But then he made up for it with the assist, so all good at the end.
