Manuel Lanzini dive vs Stoke City 2017? Mark Noble penalty for West Ham Graham Scott Referee

This alleged Lanzini dive vs Stoke was a controversial moment in the Potters’ home game against West Ham United on 16 December, 2017. Referee Graham Scott ruled that Erik Pieters had fouled Lanzini in the box, with Stoke fans and manager Mark Hughes claiming that the Argentine had dived. If Lanzini’s “dive” against Stoke is ruled as one, he could potentially face a ban. Stoke were also upset because Shaqiri had apparently been fouled in the buildup to the penalty

  1. commentators are clearly morons, clear foul

just because lanzini tries to avoid getting crunched by a defender doesn’t mean its not a foul, defender was completely out of control and proceeded to slide THROUGH him.. lanzini had full control of the ball and was forced to give up the play because PHYSICS of a player sliding thru him with zero chance of touching the ball
