From L-R bottom row (Meulensteen, Koeman, De Boer, Hiddink)
Arne Slot is the most recent Dutch EPL manager, signing a deal to replace Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
With Erik Ten Hag getting the Manchester United job (he reached an agreement with MUFC as of April 2022), ETH became the 9th Dutch Premier League manager
With Ronald Koeman’s sacking on October 23, 2017, the Premier League had no Dutch manager for the remainder of the 2017/18 season (and afterwards in 18/19, 19/20 and 20/21) after originally having started that 17/18 season with two- Koeman’s compatriot Frank de Boer was shown the door by Crystal Palace after just 77 days in charge in the 17/18 season, making him the manager with the fewest Premier League games managed before being sacked.
Koeman guided Everton to 7th place in the 2016/17 season and spent 150 million pounds in the 2017 summer window in reinforcements, but the Toffees board lost patience following their 5-2 home loss to Arsenal over the weekend- one that was the Gunners’ first league win on the road this season, and one that saw Everton drop into the relegation zone.
