  1. Not only is this a bad tournament which highlights how bad England are at major competitions, but it also makes the decision to keep Roy Hodgson as the England manager after we failed to get out of the group stage in the previous world cup. Its an absolute Joke. We need a world class manager who is foreign, who can inject some passion and belief into the squad.

  2. Dear Sir/Madam,

After seeing England crash out to Iceland, I would like to make a few suggestions on where England goes from here.

    1. Replace all those on the FA with ex England players.

    2. Appoint either Sam Allardyce or Glen Hoddle as manager and Terry Venables as Technical
    Director.

    3. Try out, not just Premier league players but, players from the Southern to the Championship
    leagues for the England team.

    4. Set up Soccer Schools. Pick the very best 7 year olds in England and enter them into these
special Soccer Schools for a 9 year training program. During the day the kids can do their
academic study’s and on Tuesday’s /Thursday’s evenings they can do training and on
Saturdays they can play against youngsters from other schools in newly formed Super Junior
    Soccer Leagues.

    5. Let Championship to 2nd division teams play for the Europa & League Cups. They could do
with the extra revenue and experience, playing against European players.

    6. Reduce the Premier League games from 38 to 30!

    7. The clubs should allow the new England manager, access to all England players for about 6
hours per week for the next 2 years, to improve their technical/tactical skills.

    8. Reducing the number of games per year would also allow the FA to bring back the Home
internationals, at under 21 level. This would give our youngsters experience at international
level in a tournament environment France & Ireland could also be invited to take part in this
new Home international Championship, along with; England, Scotland N.Ireland & Wales.

Playing less games every year, will make a big difference in the training and conditioning of
all the England players and for England to put up a better show than they did in France 2016.

At the very least, drastic measures have be implemented in the way that the England team
    Players are picked & trained.
