The highest attendance registered at the tournament was for Mexico vs Jamaica, with 83,263 attending El Tri’s fixture at the Rose Bowl, Pasadena. That’s a good 30,000 over what Brazil got at the same stadium when they played Ecuador. Mexico are obviously a popular team in the United States, and that has been proved by the crowds they’ve got to their games.
The final between Argentina and Chile at the Metlife Stadium attracted 82,026 spectators.
The lowest attendance so far has been for Ecuador vs Peru, which attracted a crowd of 11,937 to the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale
