The last sixteen of the Champions League have been determined and Belgian side KAA Gent have created history by qualifying for the knockout stages. Gent qualified ahead of Valencia and Lyon to join Russian outfit Zenit in the last sixteen.
Roma could consider themselves lucky, qualifying for the last 16 despite picking up just one win, conceding 16 goals and having a goal difference of minus 5.
Arsenal continued their great record for qualifying for the last 16 ever since the current format was introduced- they’ve done it for 13 straight seasons now.
The same goes for Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, who has now made it out of the group stages in each of the 12 CL campaigns he has managed.
