This awful Fernando Torres attempt vs Real Sociedad (VIDEO BELOW) probably summed up the Chelsea forward’s pre-season at Stamford Bridge. Second half substitute Torres had an attempt on goal minutes after coming on, but embarrassingly so, it was NOWHERE on target. Not as bad as his terrible miss vs Ljubljana, but clearly not the best space to be in before the beginning of a new league season.

Completely agree with Grimm. It’s pretty ridiculous to call him out on that shot when there were plenty more of those throughout the game. it isn’t uncommon to see these types of shots all the time. it’s not like it was a clear goal or anything… and what’s even more ludicrous is that you felt the need to create an article on this. Pointless in my opinion.
