This injury, in my humble opinion, was caused by an aggressive act. There was no need to jump on Neymar’s back and knee him. There was intent. As for Marcelina’s comment about god and blessings, not everyone believes in gods, religion is the main cause of killing in this world and we’d be better off remembering that men invented deities for their own use and to subjugate others: my god is better than your god, if you don’t believe in him/her you’ll go to some horrible place after we kill you for not believing… nice… and no thanks. I’ll go on believing in respecting and helping other life forms and my planet without having to worry about some finger waving deity… A god would not let this planet die as it is doing today thanks to humans… who alone on Earth, believe in gods…

Criminal Zuniga and cynical too. Anybody that plays soccer can see that he did it. He could finish Neymars career forever. Colombians play like that. I can say it. One broke my collarbone and other almost broke my ankle spent two months in crotches almost a year without play. Same guy got me again. Same foot. Just some ice and little limp for a day. You can play hard and that’s OK. Some people do it dirty. When you say that you did not want to do it, you’re dirty.
I cant see any reason why the guy had to jump on Neymar’s back with his knee kicking into exactly the spinal area – its weird – i replayed this again and again – he had both his hands on Neymars shoulders and lifted himself up so that he could have his knee aligned – exactly to his spine – there should be a law suit from the brazilian side or Neymar – there was definite intent here – intent to harm – to paralyze and to get Naymar out – one way or another. This was not an accident – an accident would not involve so many coincidents – am sorry but there is a bigger picture to this and its worth investigating – maybe they received a bribe or some money from another team to do this to weaken the Brazilian side.

I feel really bad for neymar. And as a soccer player I don’t want it happen to me or anybody. I think we should leave politics and religion out of football and set better rules and it all starts with the FIFA itself. I think FIFA need to grow up just like the rest of the world and stop emphasizing on becoming a champion and raising the cup. That is not what football or any sport is about. Remember these games are supposed to bring the nations together rather than separating them. I also believe FIFA needs to use playbacks as we are witnessing more dirty plays and a lot of acting, diving, biting, please stop this madness cause this is not WWF. The linesmen need to be trained better and be more involved in decision making . I believe the zinga acted in very stupid and disrespectful way and he needs to be reprimanded for his actions.
