Anybody notice that in the 21st minute of the game, Rakitic puts his hands up, almost worried that Neymar would go down for the penalty? Neymar stayed on his feet and went ahead!
Very dodgy penalty awarded, and Pletikosa should’ve saved Oscar’s goal.
Hey buddy
Thx for your excellent work, I really really appreciate it…I hope you continue it for every single match at the WC..
Good luck
Shock. It should have ended 1:1. dirty playing clearly isnt important to the jugde because he only sees invisible hands of olic on the ball. i was for brazil but not anymore. dissapointment.
All I want to say is that Brazil didnt win.. They were handed these 3 goals. The gudge was obviously paid to help Brazil win. For me, Croatia won 100%. They were playimg fair.. Brazil was too scared because if they had lost they would of brought shame.. But its okay god sees everything.. Gooo Croatia… Brazil.. Stop falling and wasting time.. What a faillll…
It is a pity that the challenge (Bra vis Cro) was won by the arbiter First score – OK suicide but counts well. 2nd – bit lucky but OK. 3rd – the penalty – there was no ANY penalty just the arbiter had a “politically correct decision” – he suppose be fired from the rest of the cup. This was not the only “gaffe” – read “politically correct decision” like hand ball of Orlic, not recognizing perfectly legal score by Cro, and many other – the Brazilian had to treat him (the arbiter) awfully well for such nice decisions on the field. 4th score – a masterpiece by Oscar – and this is what I expected from Brazil. Summary: Brazil has to play 100% better if they are going to land anywhere in this cup. They were without any concept in attack, had holes in defence (this is why I believe Scolari was furious), midfield – mediocre but the worst… they were lazy… (except Oscar who “made” all the game). Further on: bad decision, like the penalty shall be confirmed by slow motion pictures by an “upstairs” guys – more or less the way is done in hockey otherwise we are going to have more and more money or politically correct decisions that ruin all the game. Same relates to diving (masters of diving are Italians) – where review shall be in force and mandatory yellow card earned. The other way to handle it: if the guy is “very sick” after being touch by little finger he would have to mandatorily live the field to be “fixed” but coming BACK only with the arbiter permission. If the arbiter would hold him for 10 min or so out, he would think twice about being imaginatively injured.
If I ran the Croatian soccer program, I would have taken that team off the field, left and gone home – because quite frankly after all these years – what is the point? I mean in all honesty – would the Italians have let this slide, would the British have let this slide, would the Brazilians have let this slide? I mean – can somebody please tell me what it is that Croatia or Croatians or maybe one Croatian – I don’t know, has done to offend the rest of the world so much that every time this team is in an important game they get burned by poor and (arguably) corrupt officiating. First it’s the Germany game (’96) before the French world cup, then against the French, then 2 years ago against Spain and now agains Brazil. The Croatian soccer team, in my eyes during these periods, has never been good enough to win it all – nor would they have won it all, but the funny thing is that in the games against each of those teams that I mentioned above, that team has gone on to win that tournament. You tell me – does this smell like tuna? I can’t believe this small country with less then 4 million population (and where 70% of that population is over 40) is so feared by these powerhouses in the world that they have to resort to cheating. If that is the kind of victory that makes you all proud – you will definitely have something to tell you grandkids…..you can take your trophy and shove it up your collective you know whats’.
