Arsenal have been drawn against Coventry in the draw for the fourth round of the 2013/14 FA Cup. The draw, made on 5th January, 2014, also pitted Chelsea against Stoke City.
The timing of the draw was criticised by Sunderland manager Gus Poyet, whose side already knew by half time of their third round clash against Carlisle that their fourth round opponents would either be Kidderminster Harriers or Peterborough United. The draw is usually made on Monday following the conclusion of the weekend round of games, but was advanced to Sunday following the demands of television companies.
Swansea’s reward for upsetting Manchester United is a tie against one of Birmingham, Bristol Rovers or Crawley- all teams the Swans would fancy their chances against.
Everton have been drawn away against Stevenage following their 4-0 demolition of Queens Park Rangers in the third round.
Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool also have a straightforward tie- they will play either Bournemouth or Burton in the next round,
