Spurs threw it away themselves. Silly error for Downing’s goal by Lloris and Defoe thinking Suarez was his teammate for that penalty.
Still goal number 1 was real class, Liverpool’s movement and Coutinho’s passing was exquisite
is this the start of the spurs bandwagon falling off?
Glad liverpool won. Hope winning continues
I believe Downing’s goal was a result from an error by Walker, not by Lloris. He played a pass back to the keeper without seeing that Downing was still there and Lloris had no choice but to make a play; cause staying back would have given the ball to Downing in an advantageous position anyway.
Defoe’s pass was horrible as well. And it was a clear penalty.
Happy for the Reds! We’re getting there!
YNWA.
Lmao pause at 00:25, Torres is a linesman? Lololol
i think sturridge wasnt good enough in this game n liverpool players lacked a bit of cohesion. they played much better than this in a lot of games but it was lucky we won which is a great feeling:)
sturridge really needs to step up his game. liverpool could have put this game to bed in the first half had sturridge scored the easy goals
martin’s right, the goal’s fault lay with walker, not lloris. walker had all the time in the world to turn or even pass it to anyone in midfield but chose to pass it way back to lloris, who panicked. in hindsight, might have been better for lloris to stay where he was. i’m sure he would have saved whatever downing would have thrown at him.
gylfi’s chance at 2-1 wouldve killed the game off.
liverpool is in a great shape………keep it that way
