As Celtic prepare to take on Juventus tonight at Parkhead in the first leg of their Round of 16 Champions League clash, we take a look back at the Old Lady’s last visit to the stadium, a spectacular seven goal fixture back in October 2001 which the Hoops edged 4-3. Chris Sutton scored twice, including a superb volley that many Celtic fans remember even today , but the win was not enough for Martin O’Neill’s men to progress to the next round of the tournament that year as Porto finished ahead of them thanks to the latter’s 1-0 win over Rosenborg.
Alessandro Del Piero and David Trezeguet were the scorers for Juve that evening.
