Foul yes, but was that a “clear goal scoring opportunity” to warrant a red?
I’m not sure.
I’m a red-blooded gooner and although most other gooners are raging against Mike Dean I’ve got no problem with that red-card. Defenders get away with murder these days, and Dzeko was clearly denied a clear goal-scoring opportunity, and Koscielny knew it or he wouldn’t have done it. That was not even subtle, it was blatantly cynical, glaringly so. We need to stamp this crap out of football. It was judo, not football. I’m sorry to say it but Koscielny that was a disgrace, but errors like this have become the norm from yet another overrated and overpaid French journeyman signed by Wenger.
I still think Chesney would have got to the ball ahead of Dzeko.
Dreadful shit from Koscielny though. Some rugby league club would be deffo interested in signing him
