  1. If we see it from the referee angle (one of the video shows it from his side, and not from the Tv’s usual side) you will see how hard it was to see if there was contact or not.

from the back.. there didnt seem to be any contact.

  2. Use stop/start on the Torres video,& clearly see how he wilfully collapses his LEFT leg & goes to ground(when it was the right foot that was clipped, if at all).He could see that hwis clever nutmeg was hit too strong & was closer to Ferdinand than himself,& CHOSE to fall down to gain the free kick advantage.A deliberate attempt to deceive & cheat to profit,so a very astute, sharp decision by a ref who couldn’t be conned. The accusations against the ref after the game is the bitter, spoilt child crying for revenge after the Terry racism affair that is Chelsea in a nutshell. Now the whole club is diving en masse,& methinks they do protest too much.

  3. JULES ….. this is for u…. I know u are a MAn united fan.. I am a fan as well.. but this foul was clearly done by Hernandez…. JUs cause ur Man u fan u dont have to write a false story out here…. It clearly shows Hernandez leg tippin Torres right foot… There is another video in youtube which clearly shows… U talk like as if u were on the ground to see that… U unmature kid…. May be u r related to the referee cause u sound like u wanna save him from contraversies

  4. He touched Torres. Torres didn’t dive. If he acted like he was hurt more than he really was, that doesn’t mean he dived and he shouldn’t have received a second yellow card. I think he was paranoid, he heard that some Chelsea players maybe dived in the previous matches, and he wanted to send off the “divers”, but he had to be sure it was a dive before sending Torres off.
You can clearly say the referees did some mistakes, and those mistakes weren’t small ones; those mistakes decided the final result. Sending the only Chelsea winger off just after sending one of the Chelsea defenders off… well you should be sure when you do that. Then the offside goal, yes it was not easy to see it, but that’s the referee’s job. If you made a mistake, “human beings make mistakes” is not a justification. His facking job is to prevent those kind of goals from being counted, and he isn’t doing his job.
Chelsea was doing amazingly well until they sent Torres off. Even then, Chelsea worked hard with only 9 players to prevent a third goal, but referees did the impossible to give Man Utd another goal.

  5. What a load of rubbish!!!! Jules obviously has never played football because he would know that if Torres did not go down immediately he might have had a broken leg. Point is he was clearly fouled and Mark Clattenberg is always making mistakes in Manchester United favor. Remember against Tottenham when Nani handled the ball the keeper went to take the kick upon which Clattenberg incorrectly gave MU a free kick while the keeper was talking to him and everyone was still confused and Nani promptly kicked the ball into an empty net? Clattenberg is an idiot with a bias toward United which again showed against Chelsea. Just so you know I am a Tottenham supporter so the only axe I have to grind here is against Clattenberg. The worst referee in the game. The man is a disgrace and a shyster!!!!

  6. These decisions happen in football it doesnt help referees in todays game with all the diving and immature actions of these so called PROFFESIONALS. Players go down to easy try to con refs and fellow proffesionals. A big well done to stoke citys ANDY WILKINSON who lets face it got a tackle 20 times worse than torres he just got up and got on with his own job and let the ref sort the rest out. Also has the RESPECT REFS rule gone out the window as you can clearly see on tv players and managers using foul language towards officials as i thought this was supposedly ruled out. What was more disturbing about the chelsea united game was chelsea fans hurling stuff at the united players and injuring there own steward. THANKS

  7. Torres didn’t dive . That ref doesn’t know what he’s at poor Torres I bet now get lost his confidence Torres go back to Liverpool I’m afraid I’m ur biggest fan in the world and your my idol I Will stick with you through thick and thin. CMON FERNANDO TORRES !!!!

  8. I did not support manchester united did last night it was a big rideness that sir,a.ferguson used they used there power and they too will meet there percial master in front

  9. I did not support what manchester united did last night it was a big rideness that sir,a.ferguson used they used there power and they too will meet there percial master in front

  10. it was clear foul . there was not any dive – we cannot say if he rolled more than “supposed to” . When player is running and his one leg is already in air and even sometimes small kick to another leg or push to body will make you fall down .ref’s think they are so clever and players want fool them . but , again , i watched video several times and no dive (at least not to be deserved to get yellow/red card) .
I don’t know – but may be people who say referees favor Man. United are right . I watched United vs Liverpool – i don;’t think it was right red card given to Ronjo …

  11. Torres Did Not Dive.

Some Strikers Go Down Easily Sometimes,Even Top Players. Wallcott And Torres And Some Other Strikers Are Easily Injured As They Are Not Really Much Of Defending Players

Referee Totally Byers For Man United

  12. For all those who said there is no contact b/w the two players,, plz listen to jony evans in post match speech. His reply to the respective question asked was, ” Ya, He (torres) kicked me”. And then watch this clip.

  13. It is unfairly always done so, when the blues should win, last season referee was also to untd side, and i stay with hope too, next game the side will be to reds again. But the reality is.
