Barcelona captain Carles Puyol suffered a terrible dislocated elbow after landing awkwardly while defending a corner in the club’s clash against Benfica on October 2, 2012. Puyol’s arm injury took the sheen off Barca’s 2-0 win over SLB, and also means that Los Cules will certainly be without their inspirational skipper for this weekend’s El Clasico against Real Madrid.
