  1. Great Britain’s exit at the quarter-final stage, and in a penalty shootout, is all too familiar. When will British, and English players in particular, stop choking on the big stage?

  2. Clever Penalties –

    Did you notice how the Koreans deliberately took a few moments after the referee blew his whistle, to take their penalty?
    They seemed to compose themselves for a second or two and then take a brilliant penalty.

    Normally a penalty taker cannot wait to get their penalty kick taken and seem always to rush as soon as the referee blows the whistle?

    Very clever and planned and it is something I have not seen before. I am positive we will see it again as it really worked for them.
